We lost millions of trees across our community. Reforest Bemidji is about restoring our forests with thousands of free tree native seedlings, strong local partnerships, and community members replanting together.

Restoring Bemidji’s tree canopy will take all of us working together. Residents, businesses, and local partners are all supporting this reforestation effort. Pre-order your tree seedlings and plant them! It is a simple way to help restore our forests.

Start with the right spot...
Grab a shovel and pick a good place to plant. Bring a friend if you can - it’s always better with a little help.
Plant
Plant that thing...
Get it in the ground, lightly pack the soil, and give it some water. It doesn’t take long, and your trees will love you for it.
Protect
Deer and rabbits like to eat me...
Use tree tubes or rigid mesh from Plantra to protect against damage. A little protection now can make a big difference later.
